Terms of Use

1 Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Toolmatic (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs all software distributed through the Mac App Store. If you do not agree, do not install the App, and delete any copy you may already have.
2 Licence to use Toolmatic
Already own Pro, Lifetime, Max Monthly, or Max Lite? Existing purchases and subscriptions remain restorable with the same Apple ID. Max Lifetime can also be restored on your Macs with that Apple ID. Apple handles billing and refunds; prices vary by storefront.

4 Toolmatic Max
Try Toolmatic for free, including on-device AI. Toolmatic requires macOS 26 and an Apple silicon Mac. Each non-lifetime tool allows 3 successful uses per calendar day, resetting at local midnight. Failed runs and previews are free. AI tools have separate lifetime trials. Toolmatic Max Lifetime is the only purchase for new buyers. Pay once through the Mac App Store to remove tool cooldowns and unlock full features, formats, and batch processing. No subscription or recurring charge.
5 Refunds and cancellation
All purchases, subscriptions and in-app purchases, are handled by Apple. Refund requests are therefore submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple makes the final decision on refunds. If you believe a charge was in error or the App did not function for you, we encourage you to write to us at contact@toolmatic.app first, so we can help you resolve the underlying problem or advocate for your refund where appropriate.
6 Your content and acceptable use
You retain all rights to files you process with the App. We do not claim any licence or ownership over your content; we cannot, in any event, since your files never leave your Mac. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to use it to infringe the intellectual-property rights of others, create malware, or violate applicable law. You are solely responsible for confirming that your use of a tool, particularly format conversion or watermark removal, is lawful in your jurisdiction.
7 Voice Clone, lawful use
Voice Clone is provided for use with your own voice, or with any voice you have the lawful right to use, such as voice talent that has given you written, informed consent for the specific purpose for which you intend to use the clone, public-domain recordings, or recordings you have licensed for cloning under an explicit grant from the rights-holder. You agree not to use Voice Clone to impersonate any individual without their consent, to commit fraud, defamation, harassment, or identity deception, to produce non-consensual sexual content, to imitate a public figure or celebrity in a way that misleads listeners about the source of a statement, or for any purpose that violates applicable laws on right of publicity, name and likeness, biometric data, or deepfakes. The voice sample you provide stays on your Mac and is processed locally; that does not change your responsibility to obtain consent before generating output, or to clearly disclose synthetic audio when local law or platform policy requires it. You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of every clone you create, and you will indemnify us against any claim arising from your misuse of the feature.
8 Updates and availability
We may issue updates to the App to add features, fix bugs, and maintain compatibility with new versions of macOS. Updates are distributed through the Mac App Store and are subject to its delivery mechanism. We do not guarantee that every past feature will remain available indefinitely; where a feature is removed or significantly changed, we will note the change in release notes. Compatibility with a given macOS version is stated on the App's Mac App Store page.
9 Intellectual property
The App, including its name, icon, wordmark, user interface, source code, and accompanying documentation, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a licence to use the App, not any rights in the App itself, except as expressly stated here or in Apple's End User License Agreement. Third-party components are used under their respective licences, which are available on request.
10 Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular use, or that any data you process will be preserved without corruption. Always keep backups of important files before running any conversion, compression, or batch operation.
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App or these terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to Apple for the App and its in-app purchases in the twelve months preceding the claim, and (b) five US dollars. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights, those rights are not affected by this clause.
13 Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page, and we will update the date at the top accordingly. Your continued use of the App after a revised version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where a revision materially reduces your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you inside the App before the change takes effect.
